Etymology: Derived from “limbo,” meaning an intermediate place or state, and “naut,” a suffix indicating a navigator or explorer

1.       A person skilled at navigating or exploring the liminal space between two different states or conditions, often with a sense of purpose or direction.
2.       A character able to travel between different dimensions or states of existence with the aid of advanced technology or magical abilities.
3.       A metaphysical term referring to a person who navigates the realm of limbo, a hypothetical place in religious theology often considered to be a state of temporary punishment.
